Smart TV app platform for content providers

Bring your content service to many Smart TV platforms through our media player app without building every app yourself.

MyTVplace helps approved content providers launch their own subscriber TV or video service across Smart TVs and streaming devices. Providers keep their content rights, customer accounts, branding, support, and catalog control while MyTVplace supplies the TV-ready app experience.

MyTVplace is a Smart TV media player/client, not a content service. The app contains no built-in TV channels, movies, playlists, public media catalog, search engine, or user-entered stream URL feature.

For service providers

Launch on Smart TV without building every platform from zero.

MyTVplace is for companies that already operate a lawful subscriber television, video, education, sports, community, hospitality, or media service and need a practical way to bring that service to Smart TV users.

1

Provider review

We review provider details, service type, contact information, and confirmation that the provider is authorized to deliver its content.

2

Private setup

Approved providers receive private setup guidance for connecting their existing service to the MyTVplace Smart TV experience.

3

Subscriber access

Customers sign in with the account issued by their provider. MyTVplace does not create or sell separate content subscriptions.

4

Provider control

The provider controls what content, guide data, account settings, branding, and support information are available to each subscriber.

5

Lower maintenance

Providers can reduce the cost and time of building separate Smart TV apps while keeping responsibility for rights, customer terms, and regional availability.

Provider partners

Built for legitimate content and service providers.

MyTVplace works with approved providers that manage their own subscribers, branding, support, and authorized content catalog. Public partner listings can include provider names and logos after provider permission.

Sample partner cards below are examples of supported provider types. Replace them with real provider names only when the provider has approved public listing.

Authorized content only

No saving, conversion, or public media sourcing

MyTVplace is a playback client for provider-managed subscriber services. It does not provide media search, public URL entry, third-party media conversion, offline download, recording, scraping, DRM circumvention, torrent access, or tools to save media from other services.

Privacy and account control

Providers remain responsible for their customer accounts, subscription terms, regional availability, and privacy notices. MyTVplace uses provider account information only to operate the Smart TV client experience and support the provider service.

App review information

For app review, MyTVplace can provide a demo provider account with only rights-cleared sample content or provider-owned test content. The demo shows how a content provider can deliver its own service to Smart TV users without MyTVplace supplying any public media catalog.
